Charter Air Transportation
In conjunction with this expedition, you must purchase our charter air transportation (August 25-September 6: Ottawa to Resolute and Cambridge Bay to Edmonton, September 6-18: Edmonton to Cambridge Bay and Resolute to Ottawa). As of October 2007, the cost per person is approximately $1650. The final price will appear on your invoice at time of booking.
Aboard Akademik Ioffe
Scandinavian built for the Russian Academy of Science, this ship was designed to travel quietly, during hydro-acoustic research. The ship is exceptionally stable, yet maneuverable. External stabilizers and a built-in trimming system provide exceptional stability. Akademik Ioffe has an ice-strengthened hull and a cruising speed in open water of 14.5 knots.
