Ends of the Earth: From Polar Bears to Penguins

This exhibition depicts the unique nature of the Earth's polar regions, the on-going research conducted there, and how the Arctic and Antarctic are indicators of climate change on our planet. Visitors will relive historic polar expeditions; learn to walk and toboggan like a penguin and discover the reason that polar bears love the cold.

Don't forget to visit the Quark Expeditions kiosk. It is an interactive display that lets you explore the polar regions as a member of a Quark voyage. You can request a free copy of an electronic reference book about Antarctica, while visiting the kiosk.

The exhibit opens June 5, 2008 and runs to January 2, 2009.
