Daniel Kogoj, Executive Chef

Daniel, who calls Vienna home, was born and raised in Carinthia, Austria. He apprenticed in a 4-star hotel, then broadened his experience by working in top hotels throughout Austria. Seeking new experiences, Daniel worked in the United Kingdom and the USA.

Eventually, Daniel returned to Vienna to work as Sous Chef at the Grand Plaza and the NH Hotel, for the last five years. However, his desire to travel and explored other cultures was unquenchable. It was only a matter of time before he joined Quark to combine his two passions: cooking and traveling.
