Angela Buchberger
Angela was born in Germany where she embarked on a corporate career. She awoke one morning determined that life had more in store. Her new life began in South Africa in 1997. For eight years she traveled extensively through Southern and Western Africa. Along the way she acquired a Field Guide Degree and qualified as a PADI divemaster. In 2001, Angela established a Bush Camp in Tanzania, where guests could view chimpanzees in their natural habitat.
In 2006, Angela joined the Quark Expeditions Hospitality Team. Angela says, "There is no better place to work for a nature lover like me. Looking out my office window I see icebergs floating past, penguins, albatross, whales, seals and more icebergs. I work in a pristine environment at it's best, caring for happy, hungry passengers, returning from endless adventures."
You can travel with Angela on the Adventure Ship Akademik Shokalskiy.
