Karl-Heinz Iborg

Karl-Heinz was born and raised in Schalke, Germany. Hungry to see more of the world, in 1987 he joined a cruise line as a baker. His talents in the galley took him from ship to ship and country to country, increasing his experience, while satisfying his appetite for travel. Karl-Heinz has been a vital member of the Quark Expeditions Hospitality Staff since 1993.

When ashore, Karl-Heinz spends every free minute with his wife and son in Indonesia, where he lives.
