Ines Romanik, Assistant Hotel Manager

From Austria, Ines changed the course of her life, leaving the field of typography for tourism, because she wanted to travel the world. She has been working on ships since 1995.

During her time at sea, Ines longed to visit Antarctica. So in 2001, when she was offered a position aboard a Quark icebreaker in Antarctica, she gladly accepted.

Ines says, “Antarctica is the most beautiful place in the world. It makes me happy to be part of the team who helps to make the dream of visiting Antarctica come true for others.”
